What is Journalism?

Journalism is the activity or profession of collecting, ​analyzing, verifying, and presenting news and ​information to the public. It plays a crucial role in ​ensuring an informed society, acting as a watchdog for ​the public interest, and providing a platform for ​discussion and debate. Journalism encompasses various ​forms, including print, broadcast, and digital media, ​each adapting to the evolving landscape of information ​dissemination.

The field of journalism is tough. Establishing the facts of the situation, confirming the truth, and writing a clear and rational explanation for it is not an easy task. It's no wonder that so many journalisms are superficial, emotional, and inaccurate. I don't have enough time to confirm the facts. What is obvious becomes obvious. All that matters is what's happening right now. Good journalism requires the qualities that many want but few have.

The truths of literature are emotional truths rather than experiential truths. Art is a recreation. It reshapes itself. It expresses a creative reaction to the world. That is why allusion and implicit comparison are used in literature. The truth seeks lies beneath the surface of observable facts. Literature is based on imagination. What did you do? What could or should have been done? How did the character feel and think? Motivation and study of the human soul. The human condition.

Checking the accuracy of data and information before use. Facts are the basis of journalism, so journalists should not obscure the truth by forging facts or publishing miscited statements or inaccurate statistics.

Freedom

Freedom of the press should be protected by state media workers as a fundamental right. In this case, it is permissible to write on any subject concerning the public, as long as it does not violate the existing laws of the country.

Independence

Prefer the lives of one or two people by compromising the well-being of others. This principle is clearly violated by the public. Therefore, Journalists should work in the public interest, not in the interests of a few. The term "environmental journalism" refers to the pursuit of financial gain.
